QUALIFICATIONS

While the Maharishi Entrepreneurship Academy approach is not an academic one, students are enrolled in formal qualifications, with a certain degree of flexibility, so they can add credentials to their names that will strengthen their income-earning possibilities:

Follow the Entrepreneurship Stream:

  • NQF 3 Informal Traders, ID 58308 (120 credits) - accreditation by Wholesale and Retail Seta
  • NQF 4 New Venture Creation, ID 66249 (149 credits) - accreditation by Services Seta
  • NQF 5 General Management, ID 59201 (162 credits) - accreditation by Services Seta
  • NQF 6 Small Business Advisors, ID 48967 (138 credits) - accreditation by Services Seta where you will be able to support start-up businesses inside the MII as part of your practical programme.

Note: Students may embark in understanding businesses on the Entrepreneurship level through the Entrepreneurship Stream and as they grow their skills and knowledge, they may select to participate in other Academies at higher levels. This will give them deep industry- and technology-specific knowledge around which they can expand their entrepreneurial activities.
