At a school-wide meeting, CEO Taddy Blecher announced that 2 students will be selected to the ‘Quest Conference’ held by the York Region District School Board in Ontario, Canada this coming November. The theme of the conference has been named “The Quest for Increased Student Achievement and Well Being: Building Equitable, Inclusive and Engaging Schools.”
The 2 selected MI students will be guests at the Quest PreConference, which will focus on “student voice through the lens of equity, inclusivity and engaging schools.” They will be presenting to an audience of 400 students from around the globe.
This once in a lifetime opportunity for 2 students will be entirely funded by the York Region District School Board. The students will be selected by MI staff and management through an extensive application and interview process that will test the student’s public speaking ability in the upcoming months.
